Colours of Winter

I have been looking around for various examples and explanations of what colours people associate with Winter, there wasn't much information for this season but I have posted below the few comments I found:

• Nothing quite says snow like white and silver.
• Traditionally, winters colors tend to be darker and more holiday-oriented than other times of the year.
• Cold colours present at the blue end or green of the spectrum signify a cool atmosphere.
• Black, navy, true-grays, chalk white, gray beige, wine or pine green.
