Emma Van Leest

I have been thinking about the different things we see in woodland areas and I started think about shadows, and how creepy and scary it looks on a night. Some of Emma's work reminded me of this when she uses light to make shadow animations on walls. Emma also hand cuts paper to make beautiful pieces of art, the below image is from a collection called Perpetua, it is amazing handcrafted and contained between persepx, this is a similar style to ideas I have for my work to show the delicacy and different shapes the trees form collected together.
