Geometric Wallpapers

I have found this wallpaper by Cole&Son, i find it really interesting how the busy pattern flows in and out of each other. This is an old fashioned style given a modern twist with the use of colour and scale of pattern, which is a point I need to take into consideration with my wallpaper, as it could easily look old fashioned. What I think works with this wallpaper is how the scale of the shapes work on a large scale and across the wall. Its easy to make a detailed pattern like this feel very cluttered and make a room feel small, however the use of colour with a plain background help the feel of the pattern feel less clustered.
