Themes/Subjects and Design Disciplines

We were asked in the workshop to categorise our themes/subjects and design disciplines for FMP, this is how I broke mine down after getting a little confused at first!

Themes/Subject

Dance: Ballroom, shapes, movements, music, styles and fashion.

Cooking: Recipes, healthy/unhealthy eating and growing.

Nature: Extinct/rare, birds, butterflies, flowers and trees.

Fashion: sewing, material, pattern and vintage.

Design Disciplines

Paper print: digital, screen & hand

Fabric: digital, hand, dye, sewing and embellishment.

Pattern: all types.

Hand Crafting: collage, mono print, collagraph and sewing.

Illustration: pen and ink.
