I have decided to add different textures to the one pattern and colour to see what works best applied to the same design. this first texture is wood, the grain in the wood works really well with this pattern, I think perhaps because the vines are thin and are basically a line, the combination of the thin grainy lines and the bold thick line works really well. The feminity in the design and the colour is not lost by the texture, it helps enhance the colour and design to have a more professional feel to it.
