In the case of earlier wallpapers, adding a texture helped enhance the design and gave it a more professional feel. Rather than keep using the same texture on different design I want to keep experimenting with different texture as well. Below I have used an old paper texture, I didn't want this design to have a texture which was too detailed, so I made the opacity really light to just capture the rough qualities the paper has. However my idea didn't really work out as well as I thought it would, it completely washes the colours out and makes it look really dull, so I am going to try adding something that didn't work earlier to see if it is more successful on a different design.
