I have got my shapes and patterns from rubbings of different bike tyres, as I only own one bike I took a trip to Halfords to get a variation of different types of tyre treads. I have posted below the ones which have worked out the best, I really like how they have turned out, I used a thick piece of graphite and it has left a really nice texture behind as well as the pattern, it would be really good if at some point I could use these rubbings because they have left some really beautiful markings.
