Sounds of Silence Installations

These are from a series of Installations by Petra Eichler and Susanne Kessler, the forest represents clearing exchanges. It is made from layers of white paper silhouettes, leaving spaces for visitors to move around the layers. When I imagine a forest I imagine something very similar to the two installations, layers thick of trees and branches. This style is something I would like to achieve with some of my illustrations, I feel this style would work really well wrapped around a mug or the centre of a plate.
