Cycle route patterns

I have mapped out along some of the cycle routes I posed earlier with some of the shapes I had picked out from the tyres. Below are my initial drawings of the possible starter patterns, I am going to develop these further, some need more detail adding to make them more interesting and intricate as they will be used on a large scale. When I have developed more of these initial patterns for the cycle route I will take the most successful into illustrator and start to develop a repeat pattern for the wallpaper designs.
