Printed Books

From feedback during crits, it was discussed and suggested to add an element of foil to my illustration to add something a little bit extra to the designs. As I have developed these covers I have bared this in mind and used the colours to influence my design choices. I have printed the covers in the digital dungeon and then laser printed over the top the area to foil. I have been and foiled them this afternoon and the foil just hasn't set properly and has left a really bad cracked affect as you can see on the second picture. This is really annoying because it really does help with the overall finish of the book covers. After speaking to Fred and Amber today I have decided to give this another go and see if there are any better results.
